Bench test Oberpfaffenhofen

Posted by: Tobias Meinert

Nina and Michael went in a city next to Munich, Oberpfaffenhofen, in order to attend the bench test of our rocket module.

During this bench test, all modules were connected together with the service module of the rocket and a flight simulation was done. If there were an influence between the different modules or communication problems between the modules and the ground station, they would have been detected. The bench test was passed successfully for the whole rocket.

In Oberpfaffenhofen, small weights were also screwed on the rocket to balance it out and to avoid problems during the flight.

After the success of the bench test, we are ready for the final launch.

In February, every team will prepare for the launch campaign. We won't have to do a lot thanks to success of our bench test. We only will design and order team shirts and to send our stuff to Kiruna.

See you.
